We are working in partnership with a trusted and well-known charity who have offices located in South Leeds and are recruiting a temporary trainer to support the wider L&D team for a minimum of 12 weeks. As an experienced trainer, you will be available immediately and be responsible for providing induction and development training to internal staff at head office and out in the field. Although predominantly supporting the training at Head Office, some travelling is required and therefore a car driver with a clean licence is required for this full office-based role. Key duties will include;

  • To support staff in their pathway for learning, knowledge and understanding
  • To be able to analyse the needs of the learner, and adapt training
  • To respect the wide and varied backgrounds of staff
  • To participate in all discussions in an open and honest way, being able to respect the views of others, but promotes a culture of emotional safety for all.
  • To be open-minded and analytical in the approach
  • To understand that people come from a wide variety of backgrounds and experiences, and bring different perspectives, hopes and concerns to their roles.
  • To understand that people may respond differently to training and learning
  • To be resilient and dedicated to the task of enhancing

This is an exciting opportunity for a trainer, ideally with a Healthcare background, who can join the team at short notice to help continue the smooth running of all training programmes, the successful applicant must hold;

  • Level 3 qualification within Health & Social care/ Education training
  • Maths & English- Grade 9-4 (A-C)
  • Train the trainer certificate in any sub- subject; first aid/ manual moving etc
  • Have previous customer facing/ client delivery experience
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Able to deliver training to meet learners
