Stafforce are currently looking for a Paralegal to join a growing team in Leeds, within this role you will be assisting solicitors and fee earners with a wide range of commercial property matters from file opening to completion.

What to Expect:

  • Assisting with matters at all stages, from taking the client's initial instructions through to archiving, under supervision and in accordance with office and accounts procedures.
  • Liaising with clients and other parties on behalf of fee earners and deal with enquiries as appropriate.
  • Providing administrative support to other fee earners, solicitors, and partners.
  • Obtaining and preparing file documentation.
  • Handling billing files and obtain monies due to the firm from clients and other parties.
  • Liaising with the Accounts department to produce cheques, pay disbursements, etc.
  • Performing general administrative duties such as filing, photocopying, and collating documents.
  • Maintaining legal knowledge and skills.

What We Need From You

  • A minimum of 6 months' experience in either commercial property or residential property (commercial property preferred).
  • Excellent client care skills.
  • The ability to organise and prioritise work, under supervision, to meet clients' expectations and matter deadlines.
  • The ability to work under pressure.
  • The ability to present and argue a case orally and in writing.
  • The ability to work on your own initiative and as a member of a team.
  • The ability to deal with enquiries in a customer-friendly and effective manner.
