As a French/Dutch-speaking Credit Controller, you’ll play a key role in managing cash flow and reducing overdue debt, working closely with both internal teams and external clients. Your language skills will be essential in liaising with international customers, ensuring smooth and efficient payment processes.

Key Responsibilities

  • Managing a portfolio of high-value accounts, liaising with both English- and French/Dutch-speaking clients
  • Building strong relationships with customers to encourage timely payments and resolve queries
  • Monitoring and reducing overdue balances, implementing tailored payment plans where necessary
  • Assessing credit risk and escalating any potential concerns
  • Working closely with internal teams to improve processes and drive efficiencies
  • Producing reports to keep management informed of collections progress

About You

  • Fluent in French or Dutch, with strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Previous experience in credit control, finance, or a customer service role within an international business where you used your language skills
  • Strong negotiation and relationship-building skills
  • Highly organised, proactive, and able to manage workloads independently
  • Detail-oriented, with a commitment to accuracy and compliance
