We are the one of the oldest carpet and flooring shops in leeds.
We are a family run business and have an ethos of ensuring the customer needs come first, treating customers how we would like to be treated.
We pride ourselves in providing excellent customer service and we due to continued growth we are looking for an additional member of our experienced sales team.
This role will be based in our Derby store, however occasional cover in other stores may be required.
Ex Carpet Right or SCS sales team member are particularly encouraged to apply
Job Overview:
We are seeking a dynamic Sales Advisor to join our team in providing exceptional customer service and driving sales within our retail environment.
The Carpet Sales Advisor job role involves
- Dealing with customers face to face and over the phone to ensure they purchase the right products/ services that they need.
- Carrying out home visits to take precise measurements and provide a home consultation service
- Sharing product knowledge and giving advice to customers
- Providing customers with estimates
- Responding to email / social media enquiries
- Updating customer details using a CRM software system
- Ensuring the store is kept presentable and tidy
- Supporting colleagues within the store
In order to be successful the following is required:
- Strong communication skills
- Good understanding of arithmetic
- Experience of working in the carpet/ flooring industry
- Face to face sales experience
- Basic understanding of cutting/laying carpets
- Excellent interpersonal skills
- Excellent level of customer service
- Smart appearance
- Have confidence when dealing with customers
- Have a UK Driving license
- Strong sales acumen with a proven track record of meeting sales targets
