Large Format Print Finisher
Location: Leeds
Salary: Up to a maximum of £27,000 (DOE)
Hours: Monday – Thursday 8:30am – 5:30pm, Friday 8:30am – 5:00pm Overtime Available
Benefits: 20 days holiday bank holidays (additional days for long service), company pension, free onsite parking.
We’re working with a well-established and award-winning large format print company in Leeds who are seeking an experienced Print Finisher to join their production team. This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated individual to become part of a thriving business that values skill development and career progression.
The ideal person for this role will be an experienced print finishing all-rounder, with particular skills as a Zund operator.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operating a Zund cutting table to a high standard, ensuring accuracy and efficiency in production.
- Handling a variety of materials, including vinyl, foam board, acrylic, and other substrates, to produce high-quality finished products.
- Print finishing, including laminating, trimming, mounting, and assembly of printed materials to meet customer specifications (experience preferred but not essential).
- Quality control – ensuring all finished products meet company and client standards before dispatch.
- Maintaining equipment, carrying out basic troubleshooting and upkeep to ensure machines run efficiently.
- Working efficiently in a fast-paced production environment, managing multiple tasks and adapting to changing workloads.
- Following instructions from production managers and team leads while also using initiative to problem-solve when required.
- Collaborating with the team to meet strict production deadlines and ensure smooth workflow across departments.
- Keeping the work area clean and organised, adhering to health and safety regulations.
About You:
- Experience operating Zund cutting tables is essential
- General print finishing experience (including laminating) is advantageous
- Hardworking and eager to learn new skills
- Strong team player with a proactive approach
- Flexible with the ability to work overtime when needed
