Job Overview:
NextGen are seeking a passionate and dedicated Early Years Teacher to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a vital role in nurturing and developing young children's learning and development in a safe and stimulating environment. This position requires a strong understanding of child development principles, creativity, and the ability to engage children through play-based learning.

Roles:

  • Plan and implement engaging educational activities that promote children's physical, emotional, social, and cognitive development.
  • Create a warm and welcoming atmosphere for children and their families.
  • Observe and assess children's progress, documenting their development in accordance with early years frameworks.
  • Foster positive relationships with children, encouraging their independence and self-esteem.
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues to ensure the highest standards of care and education are maintained.
  • Communicate effectively with parents and caregivers regarding children's progress and any concerns that may arise.
  • Maintain a safe, clean, and organised environment that meets health and safety regulations.

Requirements:

  • A recognised qualification (QTS/PGCE)
  • A strong knowledge of Phonics frameworks
  • Previous experience working with young children in an educational setting is highly desirable.
  • Strong knowledge of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework and child development principles.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to build rapport with children, families, and colleagues.
  • A creative approach to teaching, with the ability to engage children through innovative activities.
  • Patience, empathy, and a genuine passion for working with young children are crucial for success in this role.
