Exciting Opportunity for an SEN 121 Teaching Assistant in Leeds!

Veritas Education is seeking a dedicated SEN 121 Teaching Assistant to join a friendly primary school in Leeds (LS11) and provide support for a Year 5 student with learning difficulties. This full-time position offers a chance to be a key part of a supportive learning environment and encourage progress in all aspects of education.

Position Details:

  • Role: SEN 121 Teaching Assistant
  • Location: Primary School, Leeds (LS11)
  • Start Date: As soon as possible
  • Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 08:30am - 15:30pm
  • Pay: £85 - £90 per day

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support a Year 4 student with learning difficulties on a 1:1 basis
  • Assist in the development and implementation of individual learning plans
  • Encourage and motivate the student to achieve their educational goals
  • Collaborate with teachers and parents to monitor progress and adapt strategies as needed

We Are Looking For:

  • Individuals with compassion, enthusiasm, and patience
  • Those with personal or professional experience in SEN
  • Recent graduates with a keen interest in pursuing a career in SEN
  • An Enhanced DBS check is required
  • Eligibility to work in the UK
  • Professional references from your most recent employer (academic references are also acceptable)
