Teaching Assistant - Leeds Primary School
Milk Education are currently working with a Primary School in Leeds who are seeking to appoint a Teaching Assistant to start with them in January 2025. The role is expected to be until the end of the academic year, July 2025, but may have the potential to go on to a permanent role directly with the school for the ideal person.
We are looking for candidates who have previous experience working as a teaching assistant for a minimum of 3 months within the UK and have a good educational background. Due to the nature of these roles it is essential that you are flexible.
The role would consist of general classroom assistance, 1:1 with special educational needs students and also interventions.
Teaching Assistant Non-Negotiables;
Must have a good educational background including GCSE.Have a qualification that is related to education, for example Teaching Assistant Level 2 or aboveHave previous experience working as a Teaching Assistant in a UK school or nursery setting.Have eligibility to work in the UK or be a UK resident.Have at least 3 months school based experience of working in a school setting.Two suitable references covering the last 2 years.Hold a current DBS that is registered with the update service or be willing to apply for a new one.In return Milk Education can offer;
