We are working with a client who is a leading Tier 1 M&E Contractor that are looking for a Commercial Assistant to join them to provide support within their talented Commercial Team in Leeds. This is a fantastic opportunity to join an ambitious company that can offer long term progression in a supportive environment.

Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Collate forms from Commercial Team for audit at project review meetings
  • Manage insurance database
  • Register, review, confirm and witness subcontracts and supply chain orders, including insurance
  • Warranty and liquidity checks
  • Set up subcontracts and small works orders
  • Issue monthly cost reports to commercial department for audit and sign off
  • Review payments, set up forms and budgets in readiness for Commercial Director sign off
  • Assist in the preparation of loss and expense claims
  • Assist with the Valuation Timetable, data entry and cash reporting
  • Liaise with clients and Commercial team to ensure timely client payments
  • Ensure the timely submission of all forms
  • Manage subcontractor database
  • Raising of purchase orders

Requirements:

  • General Admin experience
  • Organisation skills
  • Ability to work as part of a team
  • IT Literate in Microsoft Packages (Word/ Excel/ Adobe)
  • Training provided on internal system (COINS)
  • Commercial experience within the Construction industry desirable but not essential.
  • Candidates from a purely admin background looking for their next step will also be considered as full training is provided
