Hours: Full-time (37 hours per week) - would also consider part time

Salary: 40 /hour
Length of contract: 3 months initial, likely extension in April

Essential:
- A qualification in ecology or related field
- Practical experience in biodiversity net gain assessments.
- A proven track record of working within local authority teams.

- Excellent written communication and interpersonal skills, including experience in partnership working.
- Membership in the Chartered Institute of Ecology and Environmental Management (CIEEM)
- Strong knowledge of wildlife law, policies, and procedures relevant to planning and development.
- Proficiency in IT tools (e.g., Word, Excel, Access) and specific biodiversity software.
