Executive Assistant

Location: Leeds, West Yorkshire

Salary: £35,000 - £38,000 p/a

Hours: Full-time, Monday to Friday 

Benefits: 23 days annual leave plus stats (increasing with service), generous company bonus, hybrid working (after training period), free on-site parking

Position Summary:
The Executive Assistant plays a pivotal role in ensuring the efficiency and effectiveness of the Head of BD. This position involves managing key administrative and organisational tasks, enabling the Head of BD to focus on strategic priorities and driving revenue growth.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support the Head of Business Development with workload and tasks through regular meetings.
  • Manage the inbox, prioritising and following up on tasks.
  • Be available by phone when the Head of Business Development is travelling to visit customers, by completing visit notes, sending emails, and discussing strategic priorities.
  • Oversee schedules, appointments, and travel arrangements.
  • Filter calendar requests to ensure meetings are essential.
  • Monitor and follow up on tasks to ensure completion.
  • Manage calling lists, delegating low-value tasks as needed.
  • Prepare correspondence for presentations, reports, and tenders.
  • Liaise with staff and customers on behalf of the Head of Business Development.
  • Analyse and present business development metrics to support strategy.
  • Conduct research to support the business development team.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience as an Executive Assistant, Personal Assistant, or in a similar support role.
  • Experience in a business development or sales environment is essential. 
  • Exceptional organisational and time-management skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and other relevant tools.
  • Experience managing complex schedules, travel arrangements, and meeting coordination.
