Job Overview:

The Risk Team is seeking a proactive and attentive Fraud and Risk Associate to join our team. The successful candidate will play a key role in managing and nurturing merchant and bank relationships. The responsibilities will revolve primarily around monitoring and reviewing our portfolio of merchant accounts, building strong relationships across a variety of different partners, and handling day to day queries and tasks. The successful candidate should be adept at analysing account performance through a defined process, identifying areas for improvement/change across the variety of different rules required to operate. Whilst the role is a junior one, Our Client will provide training, support, and assistance to the successful candidate ensuring they are coached and developed in what is a fast paced and thriving business. This is an ideal opportunity for someone to join an exciting sector at the start of their career in such an area.

Responsibilities will include:

· Assist in overseeing and managing a portfolio of merchant accounts.

· Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders.

· Collaborate with merchants and acquiring banks.

· Collaborate with internal teams to ensure timely and effective problem resolutions.

· Meet with acquiring banks and merchants as a component of the business and due diligence.

· Data analysis.

· Maintain accurate and up-to-date account documentation.

· Ensure merchants are compliant with industry regulations and best practices.

Preferred skills for this role:

· Professional interpersonal and written communication abilities.

· Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, including the ability to identify opportunities and problems.

· Ability to drive and own transport for travel as required.

· Strong organisational, time-management, and multi-tasking skills.

· Commitment to staying informed about industry trends and developments.

· The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate they are able to work to process whilst being able to think outside the box highlighting issues and resourceful enough to also think of solutions.
