About the Role

TheCash TransactionsSupervisorrole will be for at least 18 months and is responsible foroverseeingand reviewingtheday-to-dayaspects of theteam as well asassisting inthe more complex mattersacrosstheteam'scash transactional responsibilities. Ensuringthecompletionto a high standard ofallthedaily, weekly and monthly bankreconciliationsfrom multiple bank accounts and in varying currencies. The preparation and processing of client refunds as well astaking a lead in allaspects of Accounts Payableto ensure timelyissuingofpaymentsacross multiplejurisdictions.The role requiresline management experience,a methodical approach and a high level of attention to detail due to the industry's regulatory requirement. In addition, the Cash TransactionsSupervisorwill be responsible fordriving change andthe ongoingdevelopment ofthe team'scurrent processes. The role requiresexperience ofbeen able to identify andlead changeto ensure that wearecontinuallydeliveringa high standard of service to our internal and external clientswhilstmaintainingrobust controlsacross all areas.

Primary responsibilities include:

  • To oversee andreview the productionofthedaily, weekly & monthly bank reconciliations in line with the firm's current processes andpolicies.
  • Tooverseeand reviewtheprocessing ofinternal and external payments in line with the firm's processes and policiesto ensure timely payments across multiple jurisdictions within the agreed time frames.
  • Tooverseeand review theprocesses of client refunds in line with the firm's processes andpolicies.
  • Ensure queries and escalations are handled correctly and promptly through to the appropriate resolutionas well as being a point of escalationfor the Cash Transactionsteam.
  • Ongoing reviewof processdocumentation andtotakeownership for all processes. Identify and managechange and ensureadequatecontrolsare in place andthat theyarerobust.
  • Line Management of the team members including objective setting and performance management
  • Provide a high standard of professional customer service to both internal staffand external clients with a high level of both written and verbalcommunication.
  • Ad hoc duties appropriate to the role (inc cover for other finance shared service functions)
  • Complete all Statutory training within the time framesset.
  • Ensure compliance in line with the Firm's procedures and, where applicable, local country legal requirements including the appropriate anti money laundering legislation

  • Previous experience as a Cash TransactionSupervisoror experience gained in a similar Financerole.
  • StrongLine Managementexperience.
  • A knowledge of the Legal industry particularly in a Finance role.
  • A background in process improvementandimplementation and a proactive approach to change.
  • Advanced knowledge ofAccounts Payable and Bank Reconciliations.
  • Great numerical and analytical skills.
  • Attention to detail with a high level ofaccuracy.
  • Experience of using investigative skills.
  • Experience of working in a multi-currency environment
  • Experience of working with overseas banks
  • Fluency in written and spoken English.
  • A team player, capable of working together towards a common goal.
  • Experience of excel,wordand Oracle.
  • Able to deliver tostrictdeadlines.
  • Good communication skills, both written andverbal.
  • GoodOrganisationalandprioritisationalskills.
