Job Purpose
  • Supporting a diverse client portfolio, working mainly with owner-managed businesses
  • Preparation and review of corporation tax computations and returns
  • Drafting financial statements and overviewing personal tax affairs
  • Reviewing work completed by junior team members to provide constructive feedback
  • Leading liaison with HMRC, including preparing letters for senior review
  • Building trusted client relationships to proactively handle queries
  • Working closely with Tax Partners, Directors and Managers to deliver advisory assignments
  • Ensuring deadlines and fee recovery targets are met
  • Training and supporting junior staff to part-qualified level
  • Attending courses to champion knowledge sharing across the team

  • CTA or ACA qualified or qualified by experience
  • At least 2 years’ corporate tax experience
  • Experience in other taxes desirable but not essential
  • An effective, confident communicator with a flair for building relationships with clients and colleagues
  • Self-motivated and well organised
  • Driven to deliver technical knowledge as a point of call for the team
  • Confident in reviewing processes
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
