Commercial Finance Director - £140,000 - £160,000 + hybrid + bonus
Robert Half are partnering with a B2B services business to recruit a newly created Commercial Finance Director opportunity - offering c.£140 - £160K+ and based in Leeds (highly flexible with hybrid/days in office).
The business have been on a journey of rapid growth in the last 4-5 years, having doubled their top line and share price at an all-time high, as well as about to break $1bil t/o.
This is a pivotal role that will work closely with the CFO, acting as a strategic partner to drive performance, support growth and lead improvement initiatives across the business. You will be partnering with the CEO, MD's and department leaders - as well as playing a key role in M&A activity and business transformation projects.
Key Duties:
- Act as a strategic financial partner to the UK Group Leadership team, delivering actionable insights to support business objectives.
- Lead finance initiatives for mergers and acquisitions (M&A) from inception to completion.
- Drive business-wide performance improvements, identifying opportunities to enhance efficiency and profitability.
- Collaborate with Sales teams to evaluate and secure significant new business opportunities.
- Build confidence and trust with the US parent company through clear communication of UK business initiatives.
- Proactively resolve contractual and financial challenges, finding collaborative and sustainable solutions.
Your Profile
- Qualified Accountant (ACA, ACCA or CIMA etc)
- Strong commercial contract negotiation experience
- Previous experience working within the 'soft services' industry
