Reed Accountancy are proud to be working with a business in Leeds who are recruiting an Assistant Finance Business Partner to join their team. You will contribute to annual budgeting, quarterly forecasting and accompany accurate figures to Directors and the internal team.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Management Accounts: Collect financial data and work with budget holders to predict spending, meeting deadlines.
  • Annual Budget: Collaborate with stakeholders to create a realistic budget that aligns with business goals.
  • Quarterly Forecasts: Regularly update spending forecasts with stakeholders.
  • Statutory Returns: Provide necessary financial data for legal reports.
  • Annual Audit: Supply accurate data and insights for audits.
  • Budget Management: Oversee and support the management of budgets.
  • Reporting and Analysis: Create financial plans and provide monitoring information.
  • Financial Training: Teach stakeholders financial management skills.
  • Control: Ensure high standards of financial control and proper use of funds.

You will need to demonstrate:

  • Part qualified (CIMA, ACCA etc)
  • Experience contributing to organisational vision
  • Proficient in analysing financial data and upholding internal financial control systems
  • Experience taking a partnership approach and working with non-finance colleagues
  • Advanced user of Excel
