We have an opportunity for a motivated team player to join our company as Finance Business Partner for Steeper Services Division, working within our management accounts department, based at Head Office.
Duties/ Responsibilities:
Business partner with the Director of Services, producing accurate and timely financial reporting.
Prepare accurate management accounts in line with month end reporting timetables, including posting transactions, updating reconciliations, and communicating meaningful commentary on the results to key stakeholders.
Hold budget holders to account; review and challenge performance versus budget/forecast.
Develop and report meaningful KPIs for budget holders to facilitate delivery of strategic objectives.
Completion of budgeting and forecasting for the Steeper Services Division in line with Group timetables.
Gain a strong working knowledge of NHS contracts, understanding commercial sensitivities and analysing revenue streams and business costs to identify opportunities to improve profitability.
Develop models for new commercial opportunities including contract tenders, acting as the key point of contact between the Finance and Sales teams.
Analyse and challenge payback of business investments including capital expenditure projects, ensuring project budgets are accurate and realistic and return on investment is achievable. Monitor project outcomes and provide meaningful analysis on variances, supporting lessons learnt activities.
Improve upon existing reporting to enable proactive decision making.
Assist with ad hoc finance projects.
Any other tasks as requested by the Finance Director.

The ideal candidate will be ACA/ACCA/CIMA qualified (or equivalent) with experience of working within a dynamic and fast paced management accounts team. Experience working within the Manufacturing or Healthcare sectors would be preferable.
