Accountable Recruitment is exclusively recruiting for a high calibre Finance Director to join a large highly acquisitive business during an exciting period of growth and expansion. As the Financial Director, you will serve as a key strategic partner to the Chief Financial Officer and the senior leadership team.

  • £110-130k DOE plus car, bonus and excellent benefits


Key Responsibilities:

  • Financial Strategy: Lead the company's financial strategy, aligning it with business goals and providing insights to drive growth.
  • Risk Management: Oversee financial risks and put strategies in place to minimise them.
  • Reporting & Compliance: Ensure financial reports are accurate, timely, and compliant with standards and regulations. Share key insights with leadership.
  • Budgeting & Forecasting: Manage the budgeting process, track performance, and adjust forecasts as needed.
  • Cash Flow: Keep cash flow on track to support day-to-day operations and future growth.
  • Financial Analysis: Run financial analysis to guide decisions, find cost-saving opportunities, and boost revenue.
  • Team Leadership: Lead and develop a strong finance team, fostering collaboration and growth.
  • External Relations: Manage relationships with auditors, banks, investors, and regulators, ensuring smooth compliance and communication.

Qualifications and Experience :

  • Must be a qualified accountant ACA/ACCA/CIMA.
  • Proven experience in a senior financial leadership role within a large, complex and operational focussed environment.
  • Strong ERP and system knowledge.
  • Experience of improving and streamlining financial process and performance.
  • Played a key role within an SLT driving growth, profitability and value.
