Description
- You'll be focusing on monthly closing and reporting of books and records, related account reconciliations, cost accruals, analysis of financial statement variances
- Prepare and present financial reports and statements.
- Support monthly reporting to the parent company, statutory accounts, and tax returns
- You'll communicate regularly with stakeholders to ensure efficient and accurate reporting and you'll also be collaborating with various business units to have a thorough understanding of reporting requirements and business needs.
- You'll prepare complex journals, balance sheet reconciliations, and reporting packages. You will also undertake balance sheet and P&L reviews, including variance analysis, to provide meaningful insights into the company's financial performance
- Assess and manage financial risks and opportunities.
- Collaborate with other departments to streamline financial processes.
- Ensure compliance with accounting policies and regulatory requirements.
- Participate in strategic planning and decision-making at the executive level.
Profile
A successful Finance Manager requirements
- Qualified accountant - ACA/CIMA/ACA or equivalent
- Attention to detail & accuracy
- Experience managing finance projects
- Ability to adapt to a dynamic, rapidly changing business environment, to multitask, to get into detail where needed and to meet deadlines on a timely basis
- Strong relationship and communication skills
- Strong technical and systems experience.
Job Offer
- Initial 12 month contract
- An estimated salary range of £60,000 - £65000, subject to experience.
