About the Role

As the Finance Manager, you'll take full ownership of the finance function in a challenging yet rewarding start-up environment. You'll have the opportunity to shape the financial direction of the business by implementing new systems, driving process improvements, and elevating the business's financial acumen.

This role combines strategic finance and commercial responsibility and will play a critical part in setting up robust financial frameworks needed to support our ambitious plans.

Key Responsibilities
  • Full accounting ownership - prepare financial statements, oversee reporting, and ensure regulatory compliance.
  • Implement financial systems and processes to support rapid business growth.
  • Drive process improvements to ensure efficiency in financial operations.
  • Provide strategic financial insight and partner with leadership to influence critical decision-making.
  • Manage budgets, forecasts, and scenario planning to help the company navigate growth.
  • Build and lead a finance function equipped to sustain a fast-paced, evolving business environment.
  • Collaborate with various stakeholders to evaluate and assess commercial opportunities and risks.

Key Skills & Experience Required:

  • A strategic mindset coupled with the ability to deliver operational results.
  • Willingness to travel occasionally within the UK as needed.
