Reed Finance are partnering with a Leeds based public sector organisation. who are looking to hire a Finance Business Partner. Really interesting time to join the organisation as they have experienced rapid growth over the last few years and are amid a large finance team restructure which includes several new hires.

Finance Business Partner responsibilities:

•    Lead on providing financial advice, including the allocation of resource and how short to medium term objectives can be aligned and affordable within available resources•    Lead on the financial evaluation of options for implementing plans to best achieve desired outcomes•    Lead the monthly management accounts, annual budgeting and quarterly forecasting process, ensuring clear links are made to the business planning process, resources are focussed on driving performance and ensuring synergy•    Lead on monitoring and providing insight and advice on the financial performance of a complex portfolio of funding programmes•    Provide expertise and advice on financial matters to drive performance. •    Support the delivery of an effective financial business partnering service across the organisation, including advice, support, challenge and guidance to colleagues, ensuring financial controls and procedures are adhered to

Key requirements:

•    CCAB qualified or passed finalist•    Practical experience in a similar role •    Demonstrable experience of championing change •    Strong communication skills with proven ability to influence, negotiate and challenge
