This role provides a fantastic opportunity to support an organisation that operates with a real sense of purpose and supports the local communities within which it operates.Supporting the Head of Finance, you will have day to day leadership responsibility for the finance team, whilst at the same time ensuring the maintenance of a rigorous internal controls environment.Responsibilities:
  • Support the Head of Finance in the overall management of the financial and transactional activities on a daily basis.
  • Manage the processing of bank receipts.
  • Manage and maintain Direct Debit Processes.
  • Ensure that bank reconciliations are kept up to date and balanced.
  • Assist in all treasury functions.
  • Maintain the Cash ordering from the provider.
  • Monitor software links with the bank and faster payment batches, ensuring that all transactions are made in a timely manner.
  • Ensure that all petty cash is balanced and signed off correctly every month.
  • Liaise with Internal and External Auditors and assist with implementing recommendations.
  • Support the introduction of new products and delivery of organisation wide projects.
  • Lead and develop the finance team to meet objectives and create a succession plan.
