Job Title: Finance Team Leader 6-9 Month FTC

Location: Headingley, United Kingdom

Search have an exciting opportunity to work with a growing organisation to recruit a dedicated, driven and experienced Finance Team Leader to join their team on a 6-9 month fixed-term contract. If you have a passion for finance and leadership, we want to hear from you!

Reporting directly to the Finance Manager you will be responsible for:

  • Lead, mentor, and support a team of three.
  • Develop processes to improve efficiency and accuracy in the transnational finance team.
  • Ensure weekly reconciliation of site bank accounts and accurate entry of transactions.
  • Reconcile supplier accounts monthly.
  • Process and pay all invoices promptly, including direct debit allocations.
  • Monitor supplier accounts to maximise cash flow and ensure timely payments.
  • Set up and maintain new suppliers
  • Chase outstanding credit notes.
  • Handle supplier queries promptly and communicate effectively with stakeholders.
  • Raise ad-hoc sales invoices for customers or supplier rebates.

Skills:

  • Strong proficiency in Sage Intacct or similar accounting software.
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
  • Leadership and mentoring skills
  • High attention to detail, with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced settings

What we offer:

  • Monday to Friday with flexible hours: 8:30 AM - 4:30 PM, 9:00 AM - 5:00 PM, or 9:30 AM - 5:30 PM.
  • Hybrid working pattern available
  • Salary up from £35,000- £40,000.
  • 28 days including bank holidays.
  • On-site parking.
  • Excellent public transport links (train and bus access).
