Fin Search are recruiting a Financial Reporting Manager on a permanent basis for a reputable, well performing retail business based in Leeds. This is a newly created role due to the business' continued strong performance.

The business is operating a hybrid working model - 2 days in the office and 3 days a week at home.

This is an excellent opportunity for either a manager within audit or a second time mover from industry looking for an interesting role with the responsibility of managing a small team and taking ownership of the financial reporting for the UK.

As the Financial Reporting Manager, this role will be responsible for ensuring the production and maintenance of accurate financial records to ensure compliance with accounting standards and regulations.

Duties will include, however are not limited to, supporting with the production of the annual statutory accounts, ensuring timely and accurate Balance Sheet reconciliations, Fixed Asset and Capex reporting, full responsibility of cash flow forecasting, coordinating year and quarterly audits and leading the implementations of any new accounting policies and regulation changes.

The successful candidate will:

  • Be ACA/ACCA qualified
  • Have effective leadership skills and have the ability to influence and challenge stakeholders
  • Have meticulous attention to detail
  • Have strong Excel/systems skills
