Group FP&A Manager – Private Equity – M&A Location: Remote Working  Salary: £75,000 - £80,000 + Excellent Bonus & BenefitsElevation Accountancy and Finance are currently engaged with an International private equity backed organisation, which is looking to add a Group FP & A Manager to their team.

This is an extremely important head to their commercial division where you will be working closely with the CFO, board and private equity investors. The successful Group FP&A Manager will guide the operational, financial, and strategic decision-making process along with being involved in all acquisitions with a view to double the turnover of an already extremely profitable business. This is a high profile and really requires an individual with excellent analytical skills, strong commercial acumen, and the ability to develop relationships at all levels, acting as a pivotal lynchpin in all financial decisions across all international business areas.

The ideal candidate will be a fast paced, dynamic self-starter, who can work individually or collectively with different teams. Must have strong time management skills and a proven ability to balance multiple work streams. The person will require strong interpersonal skills, be a good communicator, and have the ability to influence people.Day to day your responsibilities as Group FP&A Manager will be business dependant and you will be the flagship finance link between operations and the finance team.

  • Business partner with Senior Management and finance teams across the international divisions
  • Run the international budgeting and forecasting processes, coordinating the timetable and setting planning guidelines and expectations
  • Penetrate business results to establish trends to allow the development of forward-looking action plans
  • Assist in the evaluation of a potential acquisition to understand the value drivers and market background of their business
  • Create and review financial models to assist in the evaluation of the business and the potential returns of a transaction
  • Analysis and interpretation of financial information
  • Assist in the gathering and presentation to Targets and Management (and on their behalf) of data including for data rooms, due diligence and sale processes
  • Ensure that all deadlines are met, considering individual and milestone review deadlines and the needs of the lead reviewer/manager of the transaction
  • Manage the relationship with the financial teams
  • Own the strategic planning process for the business from the timetable to expectation setting all the way through to presentation
  • Supporting all areas of the business - coaching on financial matters and best practice
  • Any other finance support as and when required

Your profile:

  • You will be a Qualified Accountant - (CIMA/ACA/ACCA)
  • Essential experience of Mergers & Acquisitions
  • Experience of Financial Analysis/Modelling - Ideally in an FP & A or Finance Business Partner role
  • Experience of stakeholder management at all levels
  • Thinks strategically, maintaining a commercial sense in all aspects of work
  • Excellent Excel skills are required for this role
