Are you an experienced Finance Business Partner with a background in Property Services? Can you provide strategic financial insight to senior stakeholders in a high-volume property repairs environment? Do you thrive in a forward-facing, value-driven finance role?
A large Housing Provider with a significant property portfolio is seeking an Interim Finance Business Partner to support its Planned Maintenance and Reactive Repairs teams on a 12m FTC. This role focuses entirely on stakeholder engagement, budgeting, forecasting, variance analysis, and proactive cost reduction and efficiency sourcing. Additionally, you’ll play a key role in improving the financial front end of a new repairs system currently being rolled out.
Key responsibilities include:
- Partnering with senior stakeholders across Planned Maintenance and Reactive Repairs to provide financial insight and challenge.
- Delivering budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis to support informed decision-making.
- Leading proactive cost investigations and identifying efficiencies within the property repairs service.
- Supporting the implementation of an improved financial interface for the new repairs system.
- Ensuring financial data is effectively used to drive performance and service improvements.
This is a strategic, forward-facing Finance Business Partnering role, where you will be fully embedded in the business to drive financial improvements. As reporting sits elsewhere in the team, your focus will be entirely on adding value and supporting budget holders. With the scale of the property portfolio and repair volumes, this is an excellent opportunity to work in a dynamic, fast-moving environment where finance plays a key role in decision-making.
To be considered, candidates must:
- Be a fully qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA).
- Have experience working in a Property Services environment, such as social housing, private care and support, construction, infrastructure, or estate management.
- Demonstrate strong stakeholder engagement and business partnering skills.
- Have previous experience in a Finance Business Partnering role.
- Be able to attend the West Yorkshire office once per week.
This is an urgent requirement, and interviews will be arranged quickly. If you have the experience and skills to hit the ground running, apply now!
