We have a fantastic opportunity for a Corporate Tax Manager /Senior Manager to join a modern and growing firm of Chartered Accountants based in Garforth. This firm provide a full range of audit, accountancy, and tax services to a wide range of clients, predominately across the Yorkshire region.As a Corporate Tax Manager, you will be responsible for:
  • Managing your own portfolio of clients and acting as the main point of contact for tax-related queries.
  • Provide tax planning and compliance advice to clients on employment tax matters and other corporate tax issues, ensuring timely delivery and adherence to relevant legislation and regulations.
  • Identify tax planning opportunities for clients and provide advice on the tax implications of business decisions.
  • Review and oversee the preparation of Corporate Tax Returns and computations, ensuring accuracy and compliance with relevant legislation.
  • Assist with tax audits and investigations, liaising with HMRC on behalf of clients.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients and other stakeholders.
  • Support the development of junior staff through training and coaching.
  • Stay up to date with changes in tax legislation and identify opportunities for clients to reduce their tax liabilities.
To qualify for this Corporate Tax Manager position, ideally you will meet the following:
  • ACA/CTA qualified or equivalent
  • Previous experience of working as a Corporate Tax Manager within an accountancy firm
  • Strong technical knowledge of corporate tax compliance
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with clients and colleagues.
  • Ability to work independently and manage competing priorities effectively.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Proactive and commercially minded.
  • Excellent attention to detail.
