Role Responsibilities- Managing a portfolio of personal and trust tax clients, including high-net-worth individuals and clients with complex tax affairs
- Reviewing tax returns and compliance work prepared by junior team members to ensure accuracy and efficiency
- Providing clients with a proactive, cost-effective taxation service that meets their needs and regulatory requirements
- Leading the training, coaching, and mentoring of less experienced staff to support their career development
- Researching and drafting tax advisory work on private client and employment tax matters
- Collaborating with colleagues across the firm to deliver excellent client service
- Working closely with senior management and partners to review team performance, improve efficiency, and enhance internal processes
- Identifying opportunities to streamline procedures and drive efficiencies within the tax team

Candidate Requirements- CTA qualified or qualified by experience
- At least four years’ post-qualification experience in personal tax
- Strong technical knowledge in personal and trust tax compliance and advisory work
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to build strong client relationships
- Effective time management skills to handle multiple deadlines and projects
- Commercially minded, with a proactive approach to identifying tax planning opportunities
- Experience in supervising, managing, and developing junior staff
- Some exposure to tax advisory work (desirable but not essential)
- Knowledge of other tax areas is an advantage but not required
- £50,000 to £70,000 per annum
