Transactional Finance Supervisor Job Type: 18 Month Fixed Term ContractLocation: Leeds City Centre - Hybrid working (2-3 days on site per week)£36,000 - £40,000 + bonusElevation Recruitment Group are working with a well known financial services business in Leeds as they look to recruit a Transactional Finance Supervisor into their team, initially on an fixed term contract to start in January.
The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing and reviewing the day-to-day aspects of the team as well as assisting in the more complex matters across the team's cash transactional responsibilities as well as responsibility for driving change and the ongoing development of the team's current processes. Key responsibilities of the Transactional Finance Supervisor:
- Oversee and review the production of the daily, weekly & monthly bank reconciliations
- Oversee and review the processing of internal and external payments
- Oversee and review the processes of client refunds
- Ensure queries and escalations are handled correctly and promptly
- Line Management of the team members including objective setting and performance management
- Complete all Statutory training
The ideal candidate possesses the following:
- Previous experience in a Transactional Finance Supervisory or similar role.
- Strong background in process improvement and implementation and a proactive approach to change.
- Advanced knowledge of Accounts Payable and Bank Reconciliations.
- Experience of working in a multi-currency environment
- Experience of working with overseas banks
- Experience of excel, word and Oracle
