We are looking for a Paraplannerto join a firm of Independent Financial Advisers (IFAs) in their Leeds office, possessing extensive market knowledge and who has been in business for over 10 years.

As a Paraplanner your main responsibilities will be to provide technical and administrative support in terms of managing all submissions of policies, completing and uploading client review forms and report writing, working with pension, investment, tax and protection products.

To be considered for the Paraplannerposition in Leeds you will need to have a minimum of two year’s Paraplanning experience, with exceptional technical knowledge. Diploma Level 4 qualified as a minimum and working towards Chartered is desirable.

Key Duties and Responsibilities:

  • To work in the Wealth Management Support Team reporting to the Head of Support.
  • To prepare Suitability Reports and process new and existing business in accordance with my clients policies and procedures, using the appropriate templates.
  • To use the Firm's case management system and ensure it is kept up to date.
  • To ensure business is conducted compliantly and efficiently.
  • To ensure work complies with the Firms policies, FCA regulations and best practice.
  • To always put the interests of the client first.
  • To support the IFA's and senior members of staff as necessary with administrative duties.
  • To use cash flow modelling tools where appropriate.
  • To liaise with product providers, clients and industry professionals as required.
  • To prepare annual client reviews as required.
  • To co-operate fully with the firm’s Compliance Director and Money Laundering Reporting Officer.
