Responsibilities:

No freight experience needed, full-training will be provided.

  • Creating and sending invoices to customers
  • Opening files for new jobs
  • Chasing invoices and keeping track of payment status
  • Proactively seeking quotes and passing them on to the manager
  • Assisting with freight forwarding tasks, including import and export shipments via air, sea, road, and courier
  • Arranging deliveries and ensuring timely completion
  • Answering telephone calls and providing assistance to customers
  • Following up with airlines, shipping lines, and hauliers for updates and deliveries
  • Updating customer spreadsheets accurately and in a timely manner
  • Collaborating closely with the manager to ensure smooth operations
  • Filing and organising documents

Essential Skills:

  • Strong attention to detail and organisational skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritise accordingly
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook)
  • Ability to work independently and as a part of a team
  • Previous administrative or customer service experience is preferred, but not required
  • Willingness to learn and apply new concepts quickly
