This is a fantastic opportunity to join a busy, UKAS Accredited Asbestos company, with a growing client base and an excellent reputation. They are seeking an experienced Asbestos Surveyor / Analyst in the Yorkshire area, who has a well-rounded knowledge of the industry and strong hands-on surveying and analytical experience. Applicants will ideally be located in: Leeds, Garforth, Wetherby, Harrogate, Leeds, Selby, Goole, Pontefract, Castleford, Hull, York, Malton, Doncaster, Rotherham, Scunthorpe, Sheffield, Barnsley, Wakefield, Dewsbury, Huddersfield, Halifax, Batley, Bradford, Bingley, Keighley, Otley, Ilkley, Skipton, Ripon.
Experience / Qualifications:
- You will have a successful record of working as an Asbestos Surveyor / Analyst within a UKAS Accredited outfit
- Must hold the BOHS P402, P403 & P404 qualifications (or RSPH equivalent)
- Able to write detailed reports and work across IT applications and software, such as Office
- Strong client-facing skills and comfortable conversing with Clients directly
- Keen enthusiasm for the industry
The Role:
- Undertaking Management, Refurbishment and Demolition Asbestos surveys
- Conducting the full range of analytical duties, including: 4 Stage Clearances as well as Leak, Background, Reassurance and Personal Air Testing
- Safely collecting suspected ACM samples
- Servicing a wide range of Client sites, including: Local Authority, Commercial, Residential and Public Sector
- Working closely with site operatives to ensure they work to compliance guidelines
- Writing comprehensive work reports and updating company records
- Representing the company in a professional manner and providing a high level of service to Clients
