BREEAM Assessor

This is an excellent opportunity to join an established multidisciplined consultancy who specialise in their building compliance and energy assessment services. They are on the lookout for a BREEAM Assessor to hit the ground running for their sustainability team in their offices in Leeds.

Role responsibilities for a BREEAM Assessor include:

  • Deliver BREEAM Assessments from early design stages of projects through to project certification
  • Help contribute to the delivery of BREEAM projects and ensure they comply with UK building legislations and standards
  • Work alongside architects, engineers, and members of the design team to ensure the environmental impacts of projects are minimised
  • Produce technical reports and relevant sustainability strategies and statements
  • Take the lead on current projects as well as securing new projects for the company

The ideal BREEAM Assessor will have:

  • A BREEAM Assessor qualification such as BREEAM New Construction
  • Experience in a relevant consultancy or assessor role within the construction industry
  • Experience delivering BREEAM Refurbishment and Fit out schemes and BREEAM assessments from project inception to completion
  • A relevant degree within a sustainability or engineering field would be beneficial
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills
