We are seeking a dedicated ER Specialist to work on a broad range of ER cases within this outsourcing business.

A large outsourcing business going through a period of change, with sites throughout the UK.

Description

The ER Specialist will work closely with line managers and provide support and guidance on a broad range of ER issues. You will:

  • Manage and resolve complex employee relations issues, up to and including dismissals and potential tribunals.
  • Conduct effective, thorough, and objective investigations
  • Maintain in-depth knowledge of UK employment law
  • Provide day-to-day performance management guidance to line management where needed
  • Provide HR policy guidance and interpretation
  • Signpost managers to outsourced HR advice line where appropriate

Profile

To be suitable for this ER Specialist role, you will need to be/have:

  • Degree in Human Resources or related field, and/or CIPD level 5/7 preferred
  • Proven experience in an ER Specialist role or a generalist HR background with a focus on complex and volume employee relations casework
  • In-depth knowledge of employment law and HR best practices
  • Pragmatic approach
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Available immediately or on short notice and able to commit for a minimum of three months
