My client, a global leader within the FMCG industry, is looking for a motivated Focus Technician to join a Cell Team within the business. This role involves the assessment, development of PM systems and line performance at a fast-paced manufacturing site. This is a great opportunity for motivated people looking for stability, training and long term progression opportunities

Role Description

  • Owns the Planned Maintenance process for the line. This includes deployment, execution, reporting the KPI for meetings and continuous improvement of the process and standards.
  • Owns the Planned Maintenance standards, incl. technical documentation. Continuously drives improvement of the PM standards.
  • Owns the planning process for the line.
  • Owns and facilitates the weekly PM and Tags planning meeting.
  • Liaise with the maintenance planner to procure parts and supports the maintenance planning with updating the spare parts inventory policies.
  • Owns the Breakdown Elimination process for the line. This includes deployment, execution, reporting the KPI for meetings and continuous improvement of the process.
  • Leads the Breakdown Elimination Process
  • Focusing on building technical capability in operators. Also coaching operators and engineers on processes
  • Support the development and execution of distinct areas of the 90-day plan and weekly / monthly plans
  • Supports and leads problem solving sessions.

Skills and Qualifications

  • Computer literacy
  • Effective communicator & strong team member
  • Apprentice trained in a relevant Engineering discipline.
  • Minimum of NVQ level 3 in Mechanical / Electrical engineering or equivalent. Multi skilled preferred (or working towards)
