You will lead projects from concept to launch, working within a dynamic multinational team. You will be responsible for, but not limited to:
- Working on customer briefs and tenders, including NPD, EPD, and Blue-Sky Innovation, while liaising with suppliers.
- Collaborating with manufacturing sites and UK customers to ensure smooth product development and delivery.
- Working closely with Commercial and Technical teams to keep all stakeholders well-informed.
- Supporting commercial teams with panel presentations, submission sheets, and product cooking demonstrations.
- Coordinating samples between suppliers and customers.
- Ensuring QAS documents align with customer standards.
- Conducting benchmarking, market research, and weekly store visits to analyse market trends.
- Leading product consistency panel reviews, both internally and with customers.
- Overseeing artwork sign-off and packaging coordination.
- Keeping project trackers up to date and maintaining the Critical Path.
- Embracing company culture and values in day-to-day responsibilities.
- Ensuring BRC processes are followed, gathering necessary documents and approvals before product launches.
- Maintaining accurate and up-to-date internal administrative records.
What's required?
- Minimum 3, ideally 5 years of experience in a similar role.
- A degree in Food Technology.
- Experience working with the ‘Big 4’ retailers (Tesco, Sainsbury’s, Aldi, Morrisons, etc.).
- Background in the breaded chicken, party foods, or snack foods categories.
- A positive and professional attitude, with self-motivation and ambition.
- A strategic and innovative mindset with strong attention to detail.
- Excellent time management and organisational skills.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills across all levels and functions.
- A full driving licence, as client locations may not be easily accessible by public transport.
What's in it for you?
£45,000.00 - £55,000.00 per annum
