Elevation Recruitment Group are delighted to be working with a leading Leeds based highly regulated manufacturing business who are seeking an experienced NPI Engineer to join their dynamic team.

As a key player in our New Product Introduction (NPI) process, you will manage the successful delivery of new products from concept to production, ensuring that projects are delivered on time, to cost, and meet customer specifications.

Key Responsibilities
  • Supporting New Business Opportunities: Provide accurate quotations for potential projects
  • Project Management: Drive new product development, ensuring timelines, budgets, and specifications are met
  • Customer Collaboration: Compile technical reports, milestone plans, and validation documents, maintaining professional communications with clients
  • Manufacturing Excellence: Implement robust manufacturing processes with clear, efficient procedures
  • Technical Leadership: Lead technical meetings and provide timely NPI feedback to customers
  • Continuous Improvement: Identify and implement process improvements to enhance product quality and efficiency
  • Waste Reduction: Support the facility’s scrap reduction programme through innovative problem-solving
  • Record Maintenance: Ensure accurate and up-to-date technical documentation for the facility
What We’re Looking For
  • Degree in Engineering or equivalent
  • Proven experience in NPI engineering, preferably within highly regulated manufacturing environment
  • Experience of design for manufacture
  • Experience if FE Analysis is highly desirable 
  • Strong project management skills, with the ability to coordinate cross-functional teams
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills with customers and internal stakeholders
  • A proactive mindset, with a focus on process improvement and operational efficiency
  • Strong technical knowledge of manufacturing processes and quality standards
