About the role:

  • Able to work on the shop floor i.e. stripping/inspecting motors/pumps

  • Quoting of repairs

  • Getting prices for parts + new units

  • Health and safety checks

  • Monitoring WIP on EOS/physical check

  • Prioritizing work for engineers

  • Speak to customers internal and external

  • Daily/weekly inspection of machinery, guards and spray booth

  • Collection of emergency parts

  • Part of on call rota


Hours of work:

07:00 - 16:00 - Mon to Thurs

07:00 - 12:00 - Fri

39 hours a week


About you:

A multi skilled engineer capable of working on, repairing and maintaining a wide range of Mechanical Industrial Rotating Equipment, Electric motors, Pumps & Gearboxes whilst working to and complying with the companies health & safety procedures and adhering to company SSW & RAMS.

Working in engineering facilities both in house and on site at a variety of customer sites in the area, within a busy 24 hour 7 day a week operation supporting strategic customers from a well-equipped workshop environment. To continue to encourage participation, innovation & creativity to improve the working environment. IOSH training preferred by not required.
