About the Role:We are seeking an experienced Residential Block Manager to join our property management team, overseeing estates and buildings to enhance asset value and provide exceptional customer service. This role is based predominantly in Leeds, with occasional travel to Sheffield. The successful candidate will be responsible for the effective management of residential blocks, ensuring high standards of service and compliance with all relevant regulations.Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the day-to-day management and repair of residential blocks, including communal areas
  • Manage service charges, budgets, and financial reporting.
  • Conduct regular property inspections
  • Conduct Section 20 consultations and manage major works projects.
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
  • Liaise with residents, contractors, and other stakeholders to resolve issues promptly.
  • Prepare and present reports to senior management
  • Arrange fire risk assessments, asbestos surveys, and other safety inspections

Requirements:

  • Proven experience of at least 3 years in property management, block management, or a similar role.
  • Strong knowledge of managing service charges, budgets, and financial reporting.
  • Experience with Section 20 consultations and major works projects.
  • Familiarity with lease agreements, landlord-tenant law, and block management regulations.
  • Understanding of health and safety compliance, including fire safety regulations
  • Must have a full valid UK driving licence
