Senior Employee Relations SpecialistHybrid working from either - Leeds / Manchester / NewcastleSalary up to £47,00012 Month FTC

Elevation HR are working with a dynamic and forward-thinking Engineering company who are now looking for a strategic Senior Employee Relations Specialist to work closely with management teams to deliver the business strategy successfully.

This will be through offering a comprehensive coaching, training and advisory service for a variety of employee relations casework including absence management, effectively challenging and supporting teams to ensure proactive solutions.

The senior ER Specialist will:

  • Act as HR Lead on all tier 3 and complex cases, offering guidance on a range of HR Matters, as well as ensuring sickness levels are reduced / within target
  • Challenge and influence People Managers with effective communication methods and clear expectations of performance
  • Coach the Advisory teams in the effective application of people policies and procedures, ensuring a fair and lawful process across the board

To be successful in this role you will:

  • Have solid experience of Employee Relations with the ability to influence at a senior level
  • Strong HR advisory experience gained within a complex unionised environment, and large matrix organisations
  • The ability to build relationships with Trade Unions and offer excellent knowledge of strategic ER
  • CIPD L5, or working towards
