Myinternalrecruiter is recruiting for a dynamic and innovative organisation We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Accounts Payable Project Manager to work intially on a 3 month project likley to be extended to 6 months and beyond.
Role Summary:
The Accounts Payable Project Manager will play a pivotal role in overseeing and implementing strategic initiatives related to our Accounts Payable processes. This individual will be responsible for driving process improvements, streamlining workflows, and ensuring the efficient and accurate payment of invoices.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute comprehensive project plans for Accounts Payable initiatives, including process re-engineering, system implementations, and data migration.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and address process bottlenecks, inefficiencies, and risks.
- Manage project budgets, timelines, and resources to ensure successful project delivery.
- Implement and maintain robust project management methodologies and tools.
- Monitor and report on project progress, including key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics.
- Identify and mitigate potential risks and issues, developing contingency plans as needed.
- Foster a positive and collaborative work environment, motivating and empowering team members.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Extensive years of experience in Accounts Payable or a similar role.
- Proven project management experience, including successful delivery of complex projects.
- Strong understanding of Accounts Payable processes, best practices, and compliance requirements.
- Proficiency in project management methodologies
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships with stakeholders at all levels.Experience with ERP systems and Accounts Payable automation tools is a plus.
This is on a Day rate between £300-£350 per day
