Job Title: Electrical Team LeadLocation: Leeds, West YorkshireSalary: £38-39k per annum (£18-19 per hour)Hours: 07.30 - 16.00 Monday to Thursday, 15-minute morning break at 9 (paid) and 30 minutes dinner break (unpaid)06:00 to 14:00 Friday, 15-minute morning break at 9 (paid) and 20 minutes dinner break (paid)Company OverviewMy client based in the rail/rolling stock industry is a World Leader in the design, manufacture and refurbishment of complex safety critical components for Rolling Stock Vehicles.The company designs and manufactures complete mechanical, electrical and pneumatic coupler systems including the Wedgelock Coupler in use on all London Underground trains.Job Role:* Responsible for overseeing the Overhaul/Assembly of cables, harnesses and other products to the ccustomer'srequirements.* Responsible for the Repair, Routine Maintenance and Overhaul of electrical assemblies used in the Rail industry.* Skills required in crimping, measuring, and assembling of electrical harnesses/looms.* Testing completed assemblies to ensure functionality and reliability.* Recording and updating details of any work completed.* Writing and implementing Work instructions/Overhaul procedures.* Ensuring work is completed to a high standard and delivered on time.* Use of equipment including hand and power tools.* Ensure that all Health and Safety legislation's and regulations are adhered to by the department.* Supervising a small team of electrical engineers/assemblers.Job Requirements:* Experience in an electrical assembly role.
