The Tool Room supervisor will be responsible for the day-to-day maintenance of existing press tools and using a range of machines including lathes, surface grinders, milling machines and CNC Lathes. The successful candidate will come from a Toolmaker/Tool room background and have some CNC Lathe / wire EDM experience.

A well-established manufacturing company based in the Leeds area, they are looking to add an established Toolmaker to supervise within the tool room.
Description
- Bench Fitting / Manual machining and CNC Machining
- Set and operate a range of machines.
- Making tools from scratch as well as repairing servicing tools.
- Support other colleagues and provide guidance where needed.
- Complete tool reports.
- Comply with company standards.
- Control tool modifications.
- Preventative maintenance, modifications and day to day servicing and repairs of production tooling.
- Fabrication of fixtures and spare parts for tooling.
- Methodically dismantling and assembling Press tools
Profile
- Experience within a Toolmaker role or similar
- Experience with CNC Lathes desirable
- Ability to read and intrerpret Engineering drawings
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Live within a commutable distance to Leeds
