Our client is a very well respected Leeds based insurance brokerage. They have been established for many years and are able to provide an enjoyable, professional and flexible working environment. They have a low staff turnover and currently work on a 3 days in the office and 2 days from home basis.
They currently have a job opening available within their excellent claims team, dealing with a wide variety of claims including commercial motor, property, EL/PLetc. and other areas such as PI, some private clients. They are very focused on client service and keen to ensure that the team takes ownership of claims from notification through to settlement, analysing and interpreting policy wording, challenging insurers where necessary and liaising all parties to ensure a swift and satisfactory outcome.
Ideal applicants will have at least 2 years claims experience, be a great team player with good communication skills and wanting to work as part of an effective team. We are happy to hear from applicants from broker, insurer and loss adjusting backgrounds and training is available to learn any areas of insurance that you may not have previously dealt with.
Although this is initially a desk top claims handling role, the business continues to grow and there is genuine career progression available within group for those looking to develop into a more senior position over the longer-term.
This role comes with a basic salary of up to circa £32k + a full and comprehensive benefits package and full CII study support.
