Claims Handler required to join a highly respected insurance broker due to growth.
As Claims Handler you will deal with a wide range of commercial insurance claims, and manage the insurance claims journey from start to finish. Insurance claims will typically include losses such as Motor, Commercial Property and some Casualty claims like EL & PL.
You will advise clients on how to make claims, log new notifications, and update all records accurately on the system. You will be required to monitor the progress of the claims and liaise with Insurers and internal colleagues, resolving and negotiating any liability, whilst keeping the client informed on progress.
The successful candidate will ideally have some previous claims experience with a good understanding of general insurance. Motor insurance claims experience would also be beneficial. You will have the ability to negotiate ensuring claims are resolved expediently that result in fair outcomes. Strong levels of customer service are essential.
