- Managing claims from across different areas, including motor, property and liability, ensuring that the service customers receive are met or exceeded.
- Managing your own workload and diary system for all claims, ensuring that any claims are chased as required.
- Updating and maintaining the database.
- Providing different departments and teams with information and reports relating to the claims.
- Ensure that clients and insurers are always kept up to date in relation to the claim.
- Previous experience in handling motor, property and liability insurance claimsÂ
- Strong commercial awareness
- Good IT skills with the ability to use multiple systems (Microsoft, bespoke packages)
- Excellent communication skillsÂ
- Excellent organisation skills
- Highly organised, a high attention to detail and able to multitask
