Construction Associate - National Law Firm

Join an ambitious and dynamic professional services group that is passionate about finding the right solutions for their legal and business clients. With a strong pipeline of work and exciting growth plans, our client is looking to hire a Construction Associate to join their team.

About the Role:

As a Construction Associate, you will provide strategic support and advice to clients on fire and building safety issues in construction projects across England and Wales. Our client works with the UK's top 20 Housebuilders, making them well-positioned to tackle the building safety challenges faced by the construction and development industry. You will have the opportunity to work across jurisdictions, including England & Wales, Northern Ireland, and the Republic of Ireland.

Key Responsibilities:

Advise clients on fire and building safety issues in construction projects post-Grenfell Tragedy.Support clients in navigating government policies and legislation, including the Building Safety Act 2022.Assist clients with remediation procurement strategies and represent them in legal claims.Collaborate with industry-leading clients, lawyers, and experts across various disciplines.

Key Skills & Experience:

At least 5 years of PQE as a solicitor with construction experience, including professional negligence work.Interest and enthusiasm in political issues and policies affecting clients.Forward-thinking approach to innovation and legal technology.Ambition to build and grow a network of clients within professional services.Excellent interpersonal skills and confident in engaging with clients and colleagues.Strong team work ethic and ability to work under pressure in a collaborative environment.Drive, commitment, and exceptional attention to detail.
