New Build Conveyancing (Deputy Head of Department) – Central Leeds

I am currently looking to speak with experienced Senior Associate Solicitors interested in joining an award-winning, Legal 500 firm at its central Leeds office.

The successful candidate for the Senior Associate Solicitor & Deputy Head of Department role will play a key role in the strategic growth of the New Build Conveyancing team

You will manage a busy caseload, provide day-to-day team management and offer strategic support to the department head. This office-based position offers some flexibility for remote working, depending on department needs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage a caseload of new build purchase transactions (and related sales)
  • Provide technical guidance and support to your team, especially junior members
  • Assist the Head of Department in managing central housing development documentation and information
  • Support business development activities within the department

To be considered, you must have:

  • Several years of conveyancing experience with strong expertise in new build transactions
  • Proven experience managing a team and supporting junior staff
  • A solid understanding of referrer relationships and the ability to manage them, while maintaining integrity and independence
