Employment Associate - Leeds

We are looking for a skilled Employment Associate with 2-5 years of post-qualification experience (PQE) to join our client's highly regarded team in Leeds. Our client is a leading law firm committed to delivering commercially focused business solutions to a diverse range of clients, from established corporations to emerging businesses, start-ups, and sovereign nations.

As an Associate, you will have the opportunity to be part of an innovative and technically excellent Employment practice. Our client's team, which spans across continents and sectors, advises employers of all sizes, from small start-ups to multinational corporations. You will work on a wide range of matters, collaborating with teams from our international platform and providing both global and local advice.

Our client's team has experienced sustained revenue growth and continues to extend its expertise into the tech space. As a result, they are looking to invest in talent and expand their Associate team.

Key responsibilities:

Advising on various employment projects, including drafting global policies and procedures, disciplinary and grievance issues, restructures and redundancies, TUPE, and changes to terms and conditions.Providing excellent client service and delivering high-quality work.Collaborating with a team of experienced lawyers to resolve challenging legal issues.Building strong relationships with clients and maintaining regular client contact.

Requirements:

Qualified solicitor under the laws of England and Wales, with 2-5 years' PQE.Strong interest in employment issues and excellent academic credentials.Ambition, self-motivation, and the ability to manage multiple matters.Thrives in a collaborative team environment and enjoys solving complex legal problems.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
