Description
The Construction Solicitor will be:- Drafting, reviewing, and negotiating a wide range of construction agreements (NEC, JCT, Collateral Warranties, Highways, Drainage).
- Handling minor construction disputes and working with external counsel where needed.
- Managing relationships with external legal panel solicitors.
- Advising internal stakeholders on legal and regulatory matters.
- Supporting the business with wider commercial agreements.
Profile
The Construction Solicitor should be:- A qualified solicitor (or equivalent) with 4+ years of commercial/construction experience.
- Experienced in drafting and negotiating NEC, JCT, Collateral Warranties, Highway, and Drainage agreements.
- Able to provide clear, commercial legal advice to non-legal stakeholders.
- Confident in managing external legal panels and working independently.
